Eve Harrison, VMD, CVA, CVPM, CCFP
​

Dr. Eve Harrison is a seasoned full-time concierge house call veterinarian in Los Angeles. She is one of only a tiny handful of pioneers practicing true veterinary concierge medicine. Her mobile practice has been through numerous seasons & iterations of itself, including being an acupuncture-only practice, a multi-doctor practice with an IHE-exclusive component, wellness only, & finally a solo integrative concierge practice.

 

Her passions are creative entrepreneurship, sustainability for veterinarians, boundaries, authentic communication, & releasing people who are not a good match for our practices. 

 

She is the founder of the online CE course: The House Call Vet Academy® & offers coaching & consulting to help veterinarians nourish not only their patients, but themselves… by helping them cultivate profitable & sustainable mobile practices of their own.

 

Outside of being a vet, Eve is a semi-professional musician (flutist), & a yoga teacher.

For the past two decades, Jan Woods has built a reputation as the go-to resource for Controlled Substance education in the Animal Health industry.

 

She consults with veterinarians nationally on a full-time basis, with areas of expertise encompassing compliance with DEA regulations, as well as other state and federal regulations, clinic and hospital practice management & operations, human resources, finance, and marketing.

 

In 2001, Jan moved into veterinary medicine as the Hospital Administrator for Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center of Kansas City, (VSEC). From May of 2004 through March of 2016 she was the Co-Owner, Hospital Administrator and Vice President of the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, (VSCT). From 2018- 2020 she was the Director of Education & Regulatory Affairs Manager for Cubex, LLC. In 2020, Jan became a Zoetis Key Opinion Leader and joined Veterinary Business Advisors as their Regulatory and Operational Consultant. She is also a proud member of the Epicur Pharma® Advisory Council.

 

Jan owns two companies: Ask Jan For Help, LLC and Veterinary Management and Marketing Specialists.

Chloe is a travel-obsessed locum small animal vet and registered Yoga Alliance Professionals yoga/meditation teacher, and founded VetYogi in 2017 to improve the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of the veterinary community. Through VetYogi, Chloe (and her fabulous associate yoga teachers), provides yoga and meditation classes tailored to veterinary needs, delivers in-practice CPD wellbeing workshops and conference/event speaker sessions, and offers an online wellbeing subscription service, the VetYogi Collective. She has over 12 years of clinical experience as an emergency veterinarian. While paying off her own student loans, she became a “money nerd” and began taking financial courses. Meredith is the founder of the Debt-Free Vets Facebook group and host of the Veterinary Financial Podcast. Her mission is to help veterinarians take control of their finances and build a life they love.

Elizabeth Andree, DVM, CHPV​

Dr. Liz Andree is a small animal veterinarian certified in veterinary hospice and palliative care. She operates Sunset Veterinary Care, exclusively offering end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia visits - a first-of-its-kind service in her city. Sunset Veterinary Care opened in October 2020 during peak COVID lockdowns and quickly grew to include a care coordinator and two associates. Mostly recently Liz has had to pivot to be a stay-at-home mom and maintain the operation of her practice. Liz lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with her husband, two young sons and their two senior dogs.

Josie Beug, DVM, CVA

Dr. Josie Beug specializes in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine among other healing modalities. She earned her DVM from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. As president of the student chapter of AHVMA, she organized conferences and guest speakers in holistic veterinary medicine for the student body. For the past 23 years, she has built a thriving holistic house call practice in South Florida while teaching at Chi University. She is a lifelong student of the healing arts integrating ancient knowledge with modern medicine to help her patients live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Lauren Forsythe, PharmD, MBA, DICVP​

Dr. Lauren Forsythe is an Assistant Professor at the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy. She is also a diplomat of the International College of Veterinary Pharmacists. Dr. Forsythe graduated from the University of Findlay, College of Pharmacy in 2015 and completed her veterinary pharmacy residency at Purdue’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She earned her MBA in 2024 from the University of Illinois.  Following completion of her residency, Dr. Forsythe spent three years at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist followed by four years at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Service Head. In addition to her teaching position, Dr. Forsythe is a co-author of the book Drug Compounding for Veterinary Professionals and provides consulting services to veterinary practices through her company Foresight Pharma Solutions.

Janet Roark, DVM, CVA​

Dr. Janet Roark is a veterinarian and the proud owner of Hill Country Mobile Veterinary Service in Central Texas. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She started using essential oils for her own health over a decade ago after battling physical as well as emotional struggles related to stress. Quickly, she began incorporating them into her practice, and later became Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2018. These modalities have transformed her mobile practice and she has dedicated herself to educating others about the safe and effective use of essential oils for animals and the people who own and love them as the Essential Oil Vet!

Monica Tarantino DVM, MBA

Dr. Monica Tarantino is a veterinarian with more than a decade of experience in general practice, including serving as Chief of Staff at a busy multi-doctor hospital in Charlotte, NC. She is the co-founder of the Senior Dog Veterinary Society, an organization dedicated to improving standards of care for aging dogs.

She is also the coauthor of The New Vet Jumpstart Guide: GP Edition and ER Edition, and runs the educational platform Senior Dog Revolution (@seniordogdoc), which helps pet parents navigate the challenges of senior dog care. An active rescue advocate, she shares her home with four rescue dogs, two cats, and the occasional foster.

I was a traditionally employed small animal practitioner for 20 years. Then I practiced house calls as a solo practitioner for 10 years. I sold my practice when I moved to a new state. What to do? I discuss alternate career options, side gigs, pursuing your passions, creative influences that can and did turn into a book, teaching, a blog and and a career as an artist, as well as a volunteer for pets of families in homeless shelters as well as pet rescue foundations. Think about what you will do post-vet med and maybe my story can help you achieve your dreams and goals.

Carla qualified in 2001 as a veterinary nurse in Spain. Moved to UK worked in general practice for 5 years. She then progressed onto emergency and critical care full time on night shifts for 9 years at a referral vet hospital.

In 2015 she founded the Veterinary District Nurse role, non-existent as a role in the veterinary industry to mirror human District Nurses in the human health sector.

Carla has been walking the talk, leading the campaign and movement of raising standards of veterinary nursing care, home-based nursing clinics, client concordance and embracing the human-animal bond within the veterinary profession.

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio. I graduated Tri-C in Parma OH IN 2009.  I'm a wife, mother, vet tech, business coach for RVTs and serial business owner. 

​

I have 4 dogs, 6 cats, 1 bird, a frog,. snake and a bearded dragon, and have grown up caring for animals since I was little. 

​

I am an advocate for animals, technicians and change in the veterinary field as a whole. My goal is to make others think outside the box, and challenge old ways of thinking by trailblazing new ways of doing things in my life and in my businesses.

​

Being a Pet Consultant/strategist, I discuss a vast array of information. everything from routine care, surgical procedures, tech questions and more. Bringing digital pet care courses is something new I have introduced, to make care accessible even though many changes have occurred since the beginning of 2020. Having an RVT helping educate pet parents makes them feel confident they are doing their best to help their pets.

Dr Peter Weinstein is a husband, father, pet parent, veterinarian and leader.

 

He has been involved with virtually all aspects of veterinary practice from a 15-year-old kennel kid to a hospital owner. 

 

Organized veterinary medicine has been a passion as well with various roles and leadership and presidencies of Southern California VMA, California VMA, and Vet Partners.

 

He is a published author, most notably of the EMyth Veterinarian-Why Most Veterinary Practices Don’t Work and What to Do About It.

 

Currently, he is teaching business and finance at the Veterinary College of Western University of Health Sciences.

 

He likes to think of himself as a free thinking change agent and disruptor who, because he has a daughter in veterinary school, is working for an even better veterinary profession in the future.

Dr. Sharonda Meade is a small animal, avian and exotics veterinarian. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a MS and PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for about 13 years and has been providing mobile veterinary care since 2020. She has mobile capabilities to provide medical and surgical services to a variety of patients not only including dogs and cats, but also to small mammals, birds, reptiles and wildlife in the South and Central New Jersey Area. She is also now an ABVP Diplomate (Avian Practice).

Dr. Julie Liu is a Cat Friendly and Fear Free freelancer, consultant, speaker, and general practice vet based in Austin. She has been a frequent contributor to Fear Free, volunteers on the FelineVMA Cat Friendly Practice committee, and served as the past vice president of the Relief Veterinary Medical Association. In late 2023, she started My Family Cat, a cat behavior housecall practice supporting the felines of the Austin area. In her free time she enjoys backyard birding, finding great food places, and spending time with her partner Brian and their 18 year old cat Puff.

She serves on the AVMA HOD (House of Delegates).  Dr. Rose  lives on a farm in Wisconsin with her husband, Chip, Bernese Mountain Dog, Arabella Faith, and rescue cat, Willa.

Dr. Arielle Walton, a Nashville-based veterinarian originally from Atlanta, GA, is a 2012 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. During her studies, she developed a passion for traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM), particularly acupuncture, and became a certified veterinary acupuncturist under the guidance of Dr. Xie from the Chi Institute. In 2019, she opened House Paws Acupuncture, a mobile veterinary practice in Nashville. Dr. Arielle is passionate about integrative medicine, combining TCVM and conventional approaches to improve patient outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, caring for their three dogs, and exploring hobbies such as beekeeping and plant medicine for her family.

Dr. Caroline Murray - The Wilderness Vet​
​

Dr Caroline Murray is a mixed animal veterinarian who loves travelling the world helping both humans and animals, and is happiest on a horse and/or up a mountain outside in nature.  In 2019 she suffered a back injury, which led to CRPS and subsequent  Pregabalin poisoning during her medical (mis)treatment.  This led to permanent health damage, especially to the hormone producing part of her brain, and a lifelong ongoing quest to heal from her mental and physical injuries - which were exacerbated by her constant battle with a health system that does not understand chronic pain or endocrinology.  During her journey she discovered many other females who had less medical knowledge, discarded and failed by the human health system and left chronically ill and unable to function.  This led to her to found Jigsaw Tribes to advocate for female wholistic health and find the the help and advice that they need to recover.

Yukiko Kuwahara (Dr Youkey( DVM DRIC CVA
 

Dr Youkey (Yukiko Kuwahara DVM DRIC CVA) has over 49+ years of pet industry experience. She graduated Cumma Sum Laude with a double major at University of Idaho and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist with training at the Western Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians in Colorado. She also holds the Designated Representative Drug Wholesaler (DRIC) license with the California State Board of Pharmacy and is a Veterinary Consultant for Medic Group. She is bilingual in English and colloquial Japanese and adds her expertise as an Advisory Committee Member for several international companies. 
 

She has held various positions ranging from a President of a pet product manufacturing firm, radio talk show host for the "Wild & Wacky World of Pets & Animals" on KNRC and KNUS, Hospital Administrator for a busy Emergency and Referral Veterinary Hospital, and an On-Set-Vet ensuring the safe and humane treatment of animals on TV, movie & commercial sets. Dr. Youkey also pioneered the idea of rental Lasers 15+ years ago - and offered this service before it was popular.

Currently, she is a mobile veterinarian practicing Laser Acupuncture (Laser without needles) in over 8 states. She also lectures around the world and teaches other veterinarians about Laser Therapy. She is on the Veterinary Advisory Board for a leading Laser manufacturing company and a distributor of over 34 Lasers from 14 companies including other veterinary medical equipment. She continues to add high quality medical devices to her distribution outlet.

Jenn Roedig, DVM
 

Jenn Roedig is a Veterinarian, Pet Aging and End of Life Coach, and certified Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist. She is super passionate about talking about, educating on, and normalizing anticipatory pet loss grief. She knows that aging and end of life can feel scary, overwhelming, and downright hard for pet parents. She never wants them to feel like they have to navigate through that alone, which is why she loves being able to provide virtual support and guidance to them. When she's not supporting pet parents, she loves spending time with her husband Eric and two boys.
